⚔ Japanese Occupation - Honan Province ⚔
🌍 During the Japanese occupation of North China in World War II, the local postal system faced severe shortages of materials and hyperinflation. To maintain mail services and enforce postal regulations, authorities took standard Chinese definitive stamps—featuring Dr. Sun Yat-sen and various Martyrs—and overprinted them for use in specific regions.
📯 The stamps on this page bear the large black overprint "河南" (Honan / Henan Province). The 1/2¢ and 1¢ Martyrs stamps on the right demonstrate the standard regional occupation overprints that validated the stamps for local use.
⭐ Most notably, the three 5¢ green Sun Yat-sen stamps on the left feature an additional, specialized overprint. Reading vertically, it states "暫作欠資" (Temporary Postage Due). Because of the extreme scarcity of dedicated postage due stamps, the postal administration temporarily converted these standard stamps to collect fines on underpaid mail—a fascinating provisional issue that highlights the turbulent postal administration of early 1940s occupied China.

⚔ 華北占領地切手（河南省） ⚔
🌍 第二次世界大戦中の日本軍による華北占領下では、深刻な物資不足とインフレーションが発生しました。郵便事業を維持するため、中華民国の通常切手（孫文や烈士の肖像）に各省名を加刷し、特定の地域でのみ使用できるように制限しました。
📯 このページに展示されている切手には「河南」（河南省）の大きな黒字加刷が施されています。右側の1/2セントおよび1セントの烈士像切手は、この地域における標準的な占領地加刷を示しています。
⭐ 特に注目すべきは、左側にある3枚の5セント緑色・孫文像切手です。これらには「暫作欠資」（暫定不足税切手）という文字が縦に追加で加刷されています。不足税切手（未納郵便料金の徴収用）が極度に不足していたため、通常の郵便切手を代用として流用したものであり、1940年代初頭の混乱した中国の郵便行政を如実に物語る歴史的資料です。

⚔ 日佔華北區（河南）加蓋郵票 ⚔
🌍 在第二次世界大戰日本佔領華北期間，當地郵政系統面臨嚴重的物資短缺與通貨膨脹。為了維持郵政運作，當局將中華民國的普通郵票（孫中山像與烈士像）加蓋特定省名後發行，以限制其流通區域。
📯 本頁展示的郵票均加蓋了黑色的「河南」字樣。右側的半分及壹分烈士像郵票即為標準的地方佔領區加蓋票。
⭐ 最值得注意的是，左側的三枚伍分綠色孫中山像郵票上，還額外加蓋了垂直的「暫作欠資」字樣。由於當時專用的欠資郵票極度匱乏，郵政當局只好將普通郵票臨時轉作欠資郵票使用，以收取郵資不足的罰款。這些暫用票生動地反映了1940年代初期日佔區動盪且物資匱乏的郵政歷史。
