🌍 Aitutaki is one of the Cook Islands, a small Pacific island whose stamp history is far richer than its size might suggest. Its classic philatelic story begins in 1903, when New Zealand stamps were overprinted for use on Aitutaki, creating a compact but attractive field for collectors of South Pacific colonial postal history.

📯 Early Aitutaki issues are closely linked with New Zealand and Cook Islands administration, and collectors often look carefully at overprints, papers, perforations, watermark differences, and postmarks. In 1932 Cook Islands stamps again replaced separate Aitutaki issues, making the pre-1932 material especially interesting as a defined island chapter.
