🏛 Nepal's stamp history is one of the great specialist fields of Himalayan philately. Lying between India and Tibet, the country developed a postal identity that is very different from the colonial systems surrounding it. The first postage stamps were issued in April 1881, with the celebrated crossed kukris and royal crown design, giving collectors a truly local classic issue rather than a simple copy of a neighbouring postal administration.
📯 The early classic issues are especially rewarding because the same basic cliches were used through repeated printings, creating a study field of paper, shade, setting, plate wear, recut details, perforation and cancellation. 🏛 नेपालको हुलाक टिकट इतिहास हिमाली फिलाटेलीको अत्यन्त रोचक विशेषज्ञ क्षेत्रमध्ये एक हो। भारत र तिब्बतको बीचमा रहेको नेपालले वरिपरिका औपनिवेशिक हुलाक प्रणालीहरूभन्दा अलग आफ्नै हुलाक पहिचान विकास गर्यो। 1881 अप्रिलमा जारी भएका पहिलो हुलाक टिकटहरूमा खुकुरी र राजमुकुटको प्रसिद्ध डिजाइन देखिन्छ, जसले नेपाललाई छिमेकी प्रणालीको नक्कल होइन, आफ्नै स्थानीय क्लासिक इश्यू दिएको छ।
